Is Your Brand Showing Up When Salon Owners Search for You?
Lunch & Learn: Get Your Brand Visible On AI Search Results
A one-hour Lunch & Learn for professional beauty and hair brands who want to be found by the right stockists, in the right rooms, at the right moment.
Salon owners and clinic managers are no longer just asking their peers for brand recommendations.
They're asking AI.
They're typing briefs like "Australian made professional skincare for my salon" or "results-based skincare for my injectable clinic" — and getting back a shortlist of brands to research before they ever pick up the phone or walk the floor at a trade show.
I ran the experiment. Five different buyer briefs. Five different sets of results. And a very clear pattern in which brands appeared, which didn't, and exactly why.
The brands that showed up consistently weren't the biggest. They weren't the most followed. They were the ones whose digital presence was specific enough, professional enough, and clear enough for an AI to understand who they are for.
This Lunch & Learn is about what that means for your brand — and what you can do about it.
In 60 minutes, we'll walk through:
— The five real buyer briefs I put into AI, and the ten brands that appeared for each one (yes, we're naming names)
— Why the same brand appeared in some searches and disappeared in others — and the single factor that determined it
— What AI actually reads when it's deciding whether you're a credible answer to a stockist's question
— The five things you can do right now to improve your AI visibility — without a developer, without a rebrand, and without starting from scratch
— Live Q&A so you can apply this directly to your brand
This session is for you if:
You're a founder or marketing lead at a professional hair or beauty brand trying to grow your stockist network
You've invested in your brand but feel like you're not getting found by the right buyers
You know something has shifted in how salon owners and clinic managers research brands — but you're not sure what to do about it
You want real data, real examples, and real actions — not theory
If you're a consumer brand, a retailer, or looking for social media marketing advice, this one's not for you.
This session is specifically for brands operating in the professional channel.
This isn't a concept. It's documented.
We ran five different AI searches — from "Australian made, results-based professional skincare" through to "skincare to stock alongside injectable services with an RN on-site" — and tracked exactly which brands appeared, why they appeared, and what separated them from the brands that didn't.
The results showed:
Smaller brands appeared above bigger ones — because their stockist content was specific and well-indexed
Brands with organic or clinical credentials only surfaced when they named those credentials precisely — "certified organic" isn't enough; ACO, NASAA, COSMOS, and OFC are what get you found
Brands that serve medi-aesthetic clinics disappeared from results the moment the search went clinical — unless their content spoke the language of nurses, injectors and practitioners
This is your industry, these are your buyers, and this is what they're finding — and what they're not.
